Peer Review Process
DOUBLE-BLIND CLINICAL ASSESSMENT & EDITORIAL INTEGRITY
All submissions to the International Journal of Advanced Medical Science and Healthcare Technology (IJAMSHT) undergo an unbiased, double-blind evaluation by leading medical specialists and clinical methodologists to ensure scientific validity, patient safety ethics, and high publication quality.
Step-by-Step Editorial & Peer Review Workflow
Every submission passes sequentially through 5 structured phases to preserve impartiality, clinical validity, and timely dissemination.
Initial Editorial & Technical Screening
The editorial team and handling Section Editor review each incoming manuscript to ensure compliance with medical submission guidelines, clinical scope relevance, and essential academic quality standards.
Double-Blind Peer Review
Suitable manuscripts are sent to at least two independent external experts for exhaustive evaluation. Both authors and reviewers remain completely anonymous throughout the process to guarantee impartiality and objectivity.
Anonymized Clinical Review Matrix
Reviewers evaluate the paper using our standardized medical appraisal checklist:
- Methodological Validity: Study design, randomization protocols, and control cohort appropriateness.
- Statistical Integrity: Correct use of statistical tests, confidence intervals, p-values, and missing data imputation.
- Clinical Significance: Novelty of findings and direct translational applicability to clinical practice or health policy.
- Diagnostic Quality: High-resolution accuracy and fidelity of radiology, histology, and lab assays.
Editorial Evaluation & Decision
Based on reviewer reports, clinical critiques, and methodological assessments, the handling Editor-in-Chief issues one of the following four formal decisions:
Manuscript accepted in its current form or with minimal typographical corrections. Moves directly to medical copyediting.
Requires minor contextual clarifications, reference updates, or textual refinement. Typically reviewed only by the handling editor.
Requires substantial re-analysis, supplemental clinical data, or restructuring. Subject to a secondary round of peer review.
Manuscript has fatal methodological flaws, unresolvable bioethical violations, or falls outside the journal's clinical scope.
Author Revisions & Rebuttal (if required)
Authors are invited to revise their manuscripts in direct response to referee critique and editorial guidance. Revised submissions must be submitted within the designated window.
Requirements for Resubmission
Final Decision & Publication Preparation
Once the revised manuscript satisfies all medical reviewers and the editorial board, the Editor-in-Chief issues a formal letter of acceptance. The paper immediately enters professional publishing production.
Typical Review Timeline: 8–12 Weeks
The entire process, from initial submission to final editorial decision, usually takes 8–12 weeks, depending on the complexity of the clinical revisions and reviewer availability.
Double-Blind Review Model
Our double-blind peer review process ensures complete anonymity for both authors and reviewers, promoting unbiased evaluation and maintaining the highest standards of academic and medical integrity. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts solely on scientific methodology, data robustness, and clinical significance.
Quality Assurance & Bioethics
Every manuscript undergoes thorough evaluation by independent experts in the field, ensuring only high-quality research that contributes meaningfully to medical knowledge is published. The journal strictly adheres to COPE ethical guidance and the Declaration of Helsinki for medical human research.
